An increasing number of youth are interested in making a difference in the world, but the majority of them aren’t given the opportunities and resources to get started. Furthermore, hackathons are often geared towards more STEM-oriented youth — essentially barring less “technical” thinkers from participating. At Hack+Policy Foundation, we believe that all youth have the potential to make an impact. By encouraging participation from students with different interests, we strive to bring fresh new perspectives to the table and stimulate innovative thinking. We hope to start important conversations, spark innovation, and most importantly, bring like-minded people together to work towards a better future.
